Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how volti.lol (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, apps, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

We design volti.lol so that what you publish on a public profile is intentional. Account data, security signals, and unpublished settings stay in the dashboard unless you choose to make them public.

Who We Are

volti.lol is an online profile platform that lets you build a shareable page for links, media, music, and widgets. For privacy questions, contact privacy@volti.lol. For general support, use support@volti.lol.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the Service, and limited information from third parties you connect.

Account and profile data

  • Email address, username, password (hashed), and optional display name or avatar.
  • Invite codes and registration metadata needed to complete invite-only access.
  • Profile content you choose to publish (links, text, images, layout choices, widgets).

Technical and security data

  • IP address, approximate location (for example country derived from edge headers), browser type, device information, and timestamps.
  • Security and abuse-prevention signals such as bot checks (e.g. Cloudflare Turnstile), VPN/proxy indicators, and rate-limit logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies needed for sessions, preferences, and fraud prevention.

Third-party connections

If you sign in with Discord or link another provider, we receive identifiers and profile fields that provider shares with us under its permissions (for example Discord user id, username, avatar). Your use of those providers is governed by their policies.

Payments

If you purchase Premium or other paid features, payment processors collect billing details. We typically receive limited transaction metadata (status, amount, product, timestamps) rather than full card numbers.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service (accounts, profiles, hosting, authentication).
  • Secure the platform — including fraud prevention, abuse detection, invite enforcement, and blocking disposable email, VPN/proxy, or other high-risk traffic where configured.
  • Send essential service messages (verification codes, password resets, security alerts).
  • Process purchases, fulfill orders, and maintain billing records.
  • Comply with law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our Terms.
  • Understand aggregate product usage so we can improve reliability and design (analytics where enabled).

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, databases, CDN, security, payment processors) under appropriate agreements.
  • Third-party platforms you choose to connect (e.g. Discord) as needed to complete OAuth or display linked content.
  • Authorities when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.

Public profiles and content you publish are visible to anyone with the link or who discovers the page, depending on your settings.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, security, and basic preferences (for example theme). Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. Where non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are used, we will do so in line with applicable consent requirements.

Data Retention

We retain account and profile data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Security logs and abuse signals may be retained for a limited period to investigate incidents. After verified account deletion, personal data and user-generated content are removed from active systems; residual backups may persist briefly before automatic purge.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and account access.

International Transfers

We may process data in countries other than where you live, including through cloud providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@volti.lol. We may need to verify your request.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence where applicable.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@volti.lol and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Service. Material changes may be highlighted in-product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
