Copyright Policy
volti.lol respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how we handle copyright ownership on the Service and how to report alleged infringement under applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) where it applies.
This Policy is part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
volti.lol Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, branding, logos, documentation, and original assets provided by volti.lol — is owned by volti.lol or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited rights granted to use the Service, no license to our IP is granted by implication or otherwise.
You may not copy, scrape, mirror, reverse engineer (except where non-waivable law allows), or create derivative works of the Service or our brand assets without prior written permission.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload or publish (text, images, audio, links, and other materials). By posting content, you represent that you have all rights needed to do so and that your content does not infringe others’ rights.
You grant volti.lol the license described in the Terms so we can host, display, and operate the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any third-party works you include on your profile.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on volti.lol infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at dmca@volti.lol. You may also copy legal@volti.lol for legal process related to IP disputes.
To help us process your notice promptly, include as much of the following as possible:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (for example the full profile URL and a description of the specific file or text).
- Your contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may notify the user who posted it. Incomplete notices may delay processing.
Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@volti.lol that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice (or their agent).
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat Infringers
In appropriate circumstances, volti.lol may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We may also remove content or restrict features for single serious violations.
Trademarks
“volti.lol” and related marks, logos, and product names are trademarks or trade dress of volti.lol. You may not use them in a way that confuses others about source or affiliation, including in usernames, custom badges, or domain lookalikes, without our written permission.
False Claims
Submitting a knowingly false copyright notice or counter-notice may result in liability under applicable law. Do not use the DMCA process for non-copyright disputes (e.g. general content complaints); use support@volti.lol or the reporting tools in the product where available.
